Founded in 1931 to address inadequate housing conditions, the society is now approaching its centenary of providing affordable, quality homes to local people. Today it owns and manages 26 properties, continues to operate as a Registered Society under co‑operative legislation, and reinvests all income into maintaining and improving housing for the community.
